Heartcode® BLS Skills Assessment

The American Heart Association HeartCode® BLS program utilizes a blended learning approach designed for healthcare professionals who need to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support (BLS) skills in a wide range of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

Class Format: Using a variety of eLearning tools, including dramatizations, cognitive assessment activities, illustrations, knowledge checks, and interactive exercises, HeartCode® BLS Online (Part One) of the program addresses the essential of BLS knowledge.

The HeartCode® BLS Skills Assessment (Part Two) is the hands-on testing session for students who have successfully completed the Part One course through the AHA.

This in-person session lasts approximately 1-hour and focuses on practical skills evaluation as it relates to adult, child and infant CPR and AED use.

Outcomes: Within 72 hours of successful completion of the class, you will receive BLS certification, issued by the American Heart Association, that is valid for two years.

Important Note: A valid email address is required to register for this course and access the online modules.
